after the storm
clouds dissolve into sky-
placid mind
While reading “How to be compassionate” by the Dalai Lama this came to me.
Anger will subside like a storm. Do not let a little storm grow into a hurricane or tornado. When you get upset practice stepping outside your mind and think about why you are angry. Then take a breath and let the storm subside.
I find myself often trying to explain stopping away from the problem and looking at it from a different perspective. It really has helped me keep my dark clouds from becoming a storm.
Great advice.
It has taken me some time to get used to doing this, but it has really paid off with reducing stress and I solve problems quicker.
